Minimize Evaporation

All-Clad Stainless Steel Saucepan with Lid features tall sides and a smaller surface area to minimize evaporation when making stocks soups or sauces. You can add the lid to further prevent evaporation, too. This Saucepan is made using the tri-ply system, which means it has an aluminum core surrounded by layers of stainless steel. This set up yields even heating distribution with no hot spots so food heats evenly without burning. The cooking surface is made of 18/10 stainless steel in a unique sunburst design that helps prevent sticking, even without a non-stick coating. However, All-Clad still recommends using butters or oils to ensure food doesn鈥檛 stick to the pan. The long stick handle is made to stay cool for transporting pans from cooktop to tabletop. This All-Clad stainless sauce pan can be used with all types of cooktops, including induction. Dishwasher safe. Made in the USA. Lifetime warranty.
